Frequently asked questions

Are lessons online or face-to-face?

The majority of our tutoring is delivered online, allowing us to match students with the most suitable tutor regardless of location. We work with experienced tutors based across the UAE and, where appropriate, from the UK, giving families access to a wider network of highly qualified educators. Online lessons are highly effective for most students and offer greater flexibility for busy families.

Face-to-face tutoring may also be available, depending on your location, your child's age and the availability of a suitable tutor. For younger children, particularly those in EYFS and Key Stage 1, we often recommend face-to-face lessons where possible. If lessons take place online, we ask that a parent or another responsible adult is available nearby to provide support if needed.

How do you choose a tutor?

Every tutor in our network is carefully selected for their subject expertise, teaching experience and ability to build positive relationships with students. We take the time to understand your child's needs, learning style and goals before recommending the tutor we believe is the best fit.

If we don't have the right tutor available immediately, we'll continue searching until we find someone we're confident is the right match.

Can you support children with different learning needs?

Yes. Every child learns differently, and we take the time to understand their individual strengths, challenges and learning style before recommending a tutor. Where appropriate, we'll match families with tutors who have experience supporting a wide range of learning needs, helping every child build confidence and make meaningful progress.

Everything you need to know before getting started

Can I change tutors if it's not the right fit?

Absolutely. A strong relationship between tutor and student is one of the most important factors in successful learning. If you feel a different tutor would better suit your child, we'll work closely with you to find a more suitable match.

How long are tutoring sessions?

Lesson length depends on your child's age, level of study and individual learning needs.

Typical lesson lengths are:

EYFS & Key Stage 1: 30–60 minutes

Key Stage 2: 60 minutes

Key Stage 3: 60–90 minutes

GCSE & A Level: 1–2 hours

We'll recommend the most appropriate lesson length during your initial consultation to ensure each session is engaging, productive and tailored to your child's needs.

How much does tutoring cost?

Tutoring fees vary depending on your child's age, level of study, subject, lesson length, the tutor recommended, whether lessons are delivered online or in person, and your location for face-to-face tuition.

Typical lesson fees are:

EYFS & Primary: typically AED 200–300

Key Stage 3: typically AED 250–350

GCSE: typically AED 300–450

A Level: typically AED 400–600

Lesson length varies depending on the student's age and individual needs, with younger children often benefiting from shorter sessions.

Specialist tutors, high-demand subjects or advanced qualifications may be priced outside these typical ranges.

We'll always recommend the most suitable tutor, discuss the options available and confirm the exact fee before any lessons begin.

Do you offer group tutoring?

Yes. Where appropriate, we can arrange small group tuition for students of a similar age and academic level. This can be an excellent option for friends, classmates or siblings who would like to learn together while benefiting from reduced rates compared with individual lessons.

We also offer bespoke package pricing for families booking multiple weekly lessons or longer-term tutoring programmes. If you're interested in group tuition or a tailored package, we'd be happy to discuss the options available.
